Terms and conditions
1:1 Online lessons
Jenna works with children in different types of education i.e. formal/ home education.
She supports children with particular subjects like Phonics, English or Maths, etc… but does not provide a full-time education. Parents/carers are responsible for this.
Payment-
Monthly invoices are emailed to families on 26th of each month to cover the following month’s lessons. Payment is due 24 hours prior to the first lesson date on the invoice.
International clients-Payment plus bank or transfer website fees must be paid by parent/carer.
Once payment is received, the lessons are confirmed.
As TDE Tutoring is a small business, payments for lessons will not be refunded.
Safeguarding-
Jenna (founder of TDE Tutoring) is DBS checked.
There must always be a responsible adult i.e. parent/carer present in the home when lessons are going ahead.
Prior to tuition-
Before tuition commences, parents/carers will be asked relevant questions about their child/children i.e. their age, year group, special educational or medical needs which may impact their educational needs, etc …
Learning Environment-
Your child or children will need to work in a quiet area in the home with adequate spacing and lighting to support focus and progress.
Homework-
This is not provided but follow up activities can be suggested.
Tests/exams-
TDE Tutoring does not teach towards a test and therefore, cannot be held responsible for any results your child obtains.
Feedback-
Following a lesson, verbal feedback will be given to parents and carers.
If parents/carers require a report regarding their child’s progress, there will be an additional charge.
Resources-
Participants must have appropriate resources for lessons i.e. children must have a pencil, rubber, colouring pencils, etc…
Social Media/Website-
Parents/carers may be asked if it is ok to share examples of their child/children’s work on TDE social media platforms including tdetutoring.com
